Indiana Hay is a Natural-Earthy-Green color, it is crunchy, firm and textured.
Process: We cut our Hay down into 1 inch pieces, soak for 24 hours, then cook the Hay fiber in Soda Ash, we clean it, then beat in a Reina Hollander beater, and we pull each sheet by hand using a Mould & Deckle, then we couch, hydraulic press and finally restraint dry. Each of our sheets of paper have deckle edges and are internally sized.
